A New Year's Resolution

And give glory to the Son!
Voice your joy unto the Spirit,
Echo praises, everyone!
At God's throne, lay down this new year,
His, the battles to be won;
As each problem comes before you,
Pray in trust, "Thy will be done."
Place your hopes and dreams in Jesus,
Your whole life is in His care;
No more anxious, fevered worry,
Each new day, give thanks in prayer.
With this new year in God's trusting,
You'll have peace from up above;
Every day
And every hour,
Rest within your Saviour's love!
